Unit2- Articles of Iman
Belief in:
Allah, His names and attributes, creator- made everything, LP sort things that are man made and Allah created.
Messengers, stories and missions
Books, quran its proofs and evidence, when, how, and to who it was revealed, behavior when reading quran, shaytan in the way, reward of reading and memorizing the quran
Angels names of, jobs, attributes
Fate, what it means, wishing on stars and good luck charms,
Last Day what happens, death, life after death jenna jehennem
Unit3- Du’aa tafsir
Unit4- Adab/Manners
How to behave with Allah, His prophets, Parents, family, other Muslims, non-muslims, neighbors, animals and plants,
Unit5- Fiq
Manners of eating and drinking, what is haram and halal to eat, drink, smoking, cursing, listening to music, how to give advice, cleanliness, celebrations- Eid as well as others, terrorism,
gratefulness, selfishness, pride, lying, cheating, stealing, backbiting, trust, not to touch property of people or people, when to say bismillah, alhamduliliah, subhanallah, mashallah, astaghfirullah, husbiallah, jinn, shaytan, hejab, no bad deeds for little kids, everyone makes mistakes…sins, follow up a bad deed with a good, want for your bother what you want for yourself, if you believe in the last day speak good or keep quiet, hadiths, shaytans whispers,
Plays, songs, stories, repetition, flash cards, match, board games, connect the dots, color by number, cut and glue, comic book, cut out book.
How many lessons- 72= twice a week, 90= half the school days, 108= three times a week

Time to pray
Khalil, Ahmad and Bilal are best friends. They like to run, jump and play. Look at the time. It is late. They did not pray. They hear the athan. Lets go pray bila. I do not want to go in side I want to run. Me too said ahmad I want to have fun. Bilal is sad he tells the boys we are muslims, and muslims pray five times a day. They go and hide. Bilal finds them. Come with me. We will pray and then we will play. Ok said the boys. Nobody can see you back here. Allah can see you everywhere.

A few of my "issues"
hmmm..It seems like longer then just a month since my last post. That’s not too bad. I think I can do once a month.. I’ve gotten on a few times with the intention of posting but just wasn’t feeling it. Came to the conclusion that I like reading blogs a lot more then I do writing in one LOL. Lots of really talented writers out there mashallah..too bad Im not one of them haha.
Home schooling is going oookaaay. Good days and not so good days…I have this serious problem…I concentrate waaaay tooooo much on the future and not enough on the present. For example I spend sooo much time thinking and worrying, to the point of immobilization sometimes, thinking about next school year. What am I going to do, what are my options… Instead I should be making lesson plans for the next day or week. It’s crazy. I do this a lot. Sometimes I feel like life is passing me by and I’m just too awkward to take part. Ugh, I don’t want to turn this in to an, I suck post.. lool so I better stop. I really don’t know what to do about next year though and that’s for real. It’s all I think about really. Which brings me to another problem of mine, I obsess over stuff..yeah ok so I do suck!

A new year..
Ok so a new year has started alhamdulilah. even though i dont celebrate new years or anything i cant help to have these feelings of starting freash, a new beginning, hope. Astaghfirullah i guess thats how i should of felt after hajj or should feel after ramadan or eid... im screwed i know may Allah swt forgive me! speaking of eid alhamdulilah all went very well... this is the first eid in a looong time that we ( my husband and kids) got up nice and early,,,got dressed with no drama or anything..actually made it to the eid prayer not just on time but early!! mashallah it was nice. the day went pretty smooth,,me and my sisters were pretty much in charge with making sure the children were entertained and we were really worried about the weather but alhamdulilah everything work out. the masjid seemed really empty to me... i guess because of the winter break alot of ppl were out of town and stuff. Also last eid mashallah for the first time in years the whooooooole family was here ( except my oldest sis and her kids that live in saudi ). but four of my brothers live in NY and all of them came and i have one sis that lives in North Carolina and one that lives in Pensilvania and they were both here so mashallah we really had a blast!! so now this eid not only did those ppl not come from out of town but my father and sis is gone AND two of my bothers and one of my sisters that live here were out of town for eid LOOL sooo ugh anyway loooool i swear i had no intention of talking about any of this hahaaaaaaaa so i'll stop here. just wanted to post something before the first week of the new year was over :). so mission accomplised,,salam.
